Mr. Zane Winders is from Levelland, Texas, and began his formal training at Ballet Lubbock in 2009. In 2011 he was accepted to the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, D.C. Upon graduating he joined Ballet Arizona's Studio Company where he spent two years performing with the school and company. Zane’s repertoire with The First State Ballet Theatre includes principle and soloist roles in The Nutcracker, Paquita, Giselle, Alex Buckners’ A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Viktor Plotnikovs’ Romeo and Juliet. Zane has made guest appearances with Ballet Lubbock, the Yen-Li Chen Ballet School, Colorado Conservatory of Dance, and Delaware Dance Company. In addition to performing, Zane has also taught at Ballet Lubbock, Delaware Dance Company, and the School of First State Ballet Theatre.
