Mr. Gustavo is from Sao Paulo, Brazil. He graduated from Bolshoi Theater School in Brazil, where he became a Professional Dancer in Classical and Contemporary
Dance. While at Bolshoi, he was highlighted as a soloist in the Russian Dance in The Nutcracker by Vladmir Vassiliev and in the opera Prince Igor’s Polovtsianian Dance. He studied with the Lamondance contemporary
company in Vancouver, Canada, where he danced many principal roles and performed with The Royal City Ballet Company in Vancouver as a soloist in The Nutcracker. In 2016 he continued his professional career in the United States with the Virginia National Ballet, where he danced for two years as a soloist. He is excited to be dancing with First State Ballet Theatre in their 2018-19 season.
